to the world.

In our journey to Beaufort West, we were determined to find the right deposit that would meet our mining aspirations. After extensive exploration, we identified a promising site and proceeded with thorough sampling and testing. The positive results we received were encouraging, confirming our belief in the potential of this location. With this newfound confidence, we took the next step and applied for a mining permit, eager to turn our vision into reality.

In June 2023 we successfully met with the municipality of Beaufort West, securing their full support for our project. Our commitment to engaging closely with the community is unwavering, as we strive to ensure that this initiative not only benefits local residents but also enhances the economic landscape of the area. We have also initiated discussions with the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD), which owns the ground on which our future mine is set to open, in order to obtain their approval for mining. Through these strategic partnerships, we are poised to drive sustainable growth and create valuable opportunities for the community.

Between October 2023 and April 2024, an independent consultant was hired and his team conducted a thorough EIA Assessment with the help of different environmental consultants and specialists. They evaluated various potential impacts on water, air, fauna, and flora in the area. We are pleased to report that the results were excellent, with zero objections to our mining permit application moving forward.

After completing the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and submitting them as part of our application to the Department of Mineral Resources and Petroleum (DMPR), we entered a waiting period for the approval of our Mining Permit. This permit is crucial as it will enable us to advance to the next stage of our project, marking a significant step forward in our operations. We are optimistic about the outcome and are committed to ensuring that all necessary requirements are met to facilitate a smooth approval process. As we await the granting of the permit, we remain focused on our goals and ready to move forward once we receive the green light.

After 2 long years we finally received the mining permit. Upon receiving the mining permit, we carried out core drilling operations, targeting an estimated depth of 30 meters both diagonally and vertically. This crucial step allows us to gather detailed geological data, which is essential for assessing the underground conditions. With the insights from the drilling, we will compile our Competent Person Report (CPR), providing a comprehensive overview of the area’s mineral potential, including possible yield and quantity. This report will guide our strategic decisions on where to focus our mining efforts for optimal results.
